A.R.C. Warranties our work for 5 years. If at any time during the 5 year warranty period rats get back in to your home, because the rats created a new opening and gained access or A.R.C. work fails and allows rats to get back in to your home (Rarely Happens) we will return, perform a free inspection, make needed corrections and trap any rats that may have entered at no additional charge to you.
If you or your employee or contractor creates an opening that allows rats to get back in, A.R.C. may charge a nominal service fee to make corrections and trap rats.
Cable Company or Phone Company
Cable installers and phone installers create opening that will allow rats to get back in, if you are planning on having either one of these service at your home, please ensure they do not run the cable or wires through a vent or the sub-doors, this will allow rats to get back in.
One of the most common things that occur after the rat proofing is a contractor such as a plumber needs to get under your home to make a repair or just perform a service. The plumbers in some cases will not put the sub-door back on correctly. Ensure your plumber or any other service personnel that goes under your home securely closes the sub-door.
In some cases if you have your home re-roofed, the roofers will remove some of the repairs we performed during the rat proofing, if you are planning having your roof replaced please inform us 2 months in advance so we can apply preventative measures prior to the roofing job.
Open doors or windows
If you are not on an exterior maintenance service plan for the control of rats, you may still have rats living just outside your home. If you leave doors or windows open for any period of time, rats outside may find their way in to your home and re-infest. Make sure you close doors and windows at dusk.
